Ahhh, who can resist the allure of a gal with bluish-black skin? Certainly not I. Markessa is a butt-kickin', spider worshippin', dark elf priestess with a gleam in her eye and evil on her mind.

Used a photo of some nameless model for the face. Hands originally belonged to my neice. Everything else was created from scratch in photoshop. Not sure how I feel about those little spider adornments (are they too Spiderman?) but for those of you who have spent as much time as I have buried in the pages of Dungeons and Dragons books you would know that these crazy dark elves worship spiders.

I always was partial to the Drow . . . .they seemed like so much more fun than the standard top-side elves . ..

:D very nice! I think you captured the skin tones rather nicely. and no, the spider adornments don't look to Spidey . . . ;) do like the webwork as well . .. . very nicely done. the outfit is rather spiffy as well . . . :lol: been too long since I was buried in D&D. thanks for the reminder!!

I hear ya. I'm kind of having a second childhood with this. It all started when I picked up a copy of Neverwinter Nights, a D&D computer game. So now I can enjoy fighting dragons and evil wizards without fear of being ostracized by the football team or tossed into a locker upside down :)

you really had that done to you?!?! wow. we actually had football players actively in our D&D group . . . oddly enough, they always played elves!!! :lol:

He he. To be honest we didn't even have football at our school. But that's really funny about the football players playing elves :)

yeah . . .. it amused the heck out of me! one guy especially . . . he was the stereotypical qb . . . . really funny to watch him hunker down with the rest of us playing a tall slim elf cleric . . .. waaayyyyyy too funny!!! and so very hard to imagine at the same time . . . too incongruous!! :rofl: I still laugh a lot thinking about it . . .

That is a great image :) Reminds me of a good buddy of mine who used to play with us. He wasn't a football player but he was gigantic!! 6 ft 4 and about 350lbs. For some reason he would always play a drunk cleric. Go figure.
